This notification is to inform customers of PWSD #6, the District has implemented the 2024 Water Rates increase. The minimum base rate will increase $2.00 with commodity rates increasing $0.43 and $0.46 respectively. This means that an average user of 5,000 gallons a month will see an approximate $3.72 per month increase. This increase will be implemented in the February 2024 billing cycle and will be reflected on your water bill due March 15, 2024.

These increases are due to recent growth in the district, increases in KC Water rates, maintenance of existing infrastructure and planning for future water demand. PWSD #6 will need to expand the water system storage in the near future and this will help with that endeavour. PWSD #6 is dedicated to the safety and health of its customers and to providing the best water quality possible.
