PWSD #6 of Clay County is in contract with Utility Services for the repairs, maintenance and painting of the District’s water storage assets. Effective today (10/05/23), they will begin the process of draining, cleaning, and painting the District’s Hills Rd-I-35 Water Tower. Temporary pressure tanks have been established at predetermined locations to maintain system pressure while the maintenance and painting is being completed. This process is scheduled for approximately six weeks. During this time, we ask that customers keep water usage at a minimum and if irrigation systems are in operation, that they are not used during peak demand hours of 5 am – 10 am and 4 pm – 10 pm. PWSD #6 is committed to providing the highest water quality for our customers.
